The club has developed two main tenets which have attracted positive attention: All modules must be fully scenicked prior to public viewing, and the common rectangular shaped layout must be avoided! Our club takes a layout to several shows in the area each year. We also represented N scale at the 1996 Annual Convention of at the Santa Fe Modelers Association in Fort Worth. For a number of years, we now have contributed to a large multi-club NTRAK layout at the annual Oklahoma City Train Show, and we have organized one ourselves for the first time in February 2005 in Arlington, Texas. |

About N Scale ...
For modelers with limited space, N scale is a wise choice. Much railroading can be gotten into a space as small as 2' x 4', the size of a standard module. For those with more space, a realistic railroad can be built with towns, industries to service, and massive scenery to enjoy. And you can buy it out of a box, create your own, or both. |
About Modules ...
Modules can fit into a home layout that grows as you grow, and is portable when time comes to move to a bigger house. |
About Meetings ...Our club has quarterly business meetings, currently (spring 2005) the second Saturday of each quarter at 2:00 p.m. In between, we hold work sessions occasionally according to need and interest. The next meeting date and location can be found on our events calendar. In addition to the meetings, we come together on 5-6 weekends during the year to set up our layout at a model railroad show, run trains and meet fellow model railroaders. A few of them will feature joint layouts with other clubs; these will be marked as such on our events calendar. For more information about club membership, please have a look at our Membership Information Area. |
