This is the latest extension of the TNRR, linking it to the rest of the world. It actually consists of two branches that continue from the ends of the 1st Division main line.
Prairie BendThe name is based on the very stretched-out change of direction of the line. |
||
Rocky PlainsRocky Plains exports cement (Grey Gold Co.) and imports various goods for local stores and shops. |
||
Big SkyThe only company of note in Big Sky is the Llano Feed Mill that serves both local and distant markets; it is the largest business of its kind within the market area of the TNRR. The end of this branch interchanges with the SP. |

Railhead InterchangeNorth SectionSouth SectionNot far beyond Oak Forest, connections are made to UP, SP and SF at Railhead Interchange. Quite naturally, this is a very noisy place, so besides a few prairie-roaming animals, nobody wants to live around there. |
